Kronos is an ancient, powerful machine god once known to have devoured other machine gods to grow itself in size. He is long since deceased, but the remains of his program can still be found within the Geothermal Engine. Even after thousands of years, he still has just enough processing power and energy left that he is actively being exploited by the Taranis to be harvested for both computational power and cybernephrine.
History
Long before the creation of the Oracle, Kronos posed a threat to other synthetic life forms and the Valerian Empire. However, with the help of other machine gods as well some brave Valerian warriors, Kronos was defeated and contained within the Geothermal Engine on Yeddo.

Centuries later during the Singularity War, the Oracle made an attempt to free Kronos and capture him to use as training data. Thus, to break past the planet's defenses, the Oracle fired a giant mass accelerated weapon in an attempt to cause a catacylsmic impact. The weapon, however, missed its target although it grazed the planet's surface and formed Scar Canyon. The Oracle was forced to retreat for the time being, but Yeddo was rendered into a state where it could no longer support the massive population of the planet, forcing the Valerians to abandon it.

Kronos, however, remained. With the attack from the Oracle, the systems that contained him were damaged and in the process, he received irreparable damage to his neurological processing systems. Essentially, he was left as in a comatose state.

Despite Kronos being comatose, in secret, he managed to manifest an avatar of himself that contained only a fraction of his original power. Despite this, he was able to make plans to not only get revenge on the Oracle but to regain his lost power by potentially devouring the Oracle itself. Because of his actions, the possibility for Bunny and Poseidon to spare the Oracle and rehabilitate was no longer an option. Thus, by destroying the megastructue Guf, they prevented Kronos from taking its place and prolonging the Singularity War any further. Kronos' avatar would eventually fizzle out due to lack of power, and the machine god returned to its comatose state for the time being.

In the post-Blackout era, the rogue nation of Taranis rediscovered the remains of Kronos, finding him to still be alive even in a virtually braindead state. Taranis sent forth its best technokinetics to harvest his computational power along with any cybernephrine where possible. This led to the rapid development of Taranis to be a major rival to other Yeddite nations. To maintain their edge, they chose to keep their discovery of Kronos a secret. Nonetheless, the myths spread around. Local folklore would arise over a witch queen harnessing the power of a dead god.
Sophia "PHIA" Delphi is the founder of the PHIA Phorce and the granddaughter of Mimi Delphi. She is a young woman with mysterious ancestry, said to be a descendant of Empress Minerva of the Valerian Empire. While the royal lineage means little in a day where said empire is long forgotten, she nonetheless wishes to explore the secrets of her heritage as with it comes several unique abilities. Namely, she has the ability to see into the past upon investigating something her ancestors may have interacted with, a power best described as some form of genetic-based quantum entanglement system.

With shrewd wit and courage, PHIA has developed an inherent wisdom, likely from her accumulated experiences from past versions of herself. In low points, she somewhat struggles to reconcile the boundaries of her individuality and her shared consciousness with her past counterparts. But it's through her studies of the past that she finds peace and understanding.

PHIA is well-versed in her attunement into the virtual worlds, influenced by her family members who are monks seeking out the harmony between the physical and virtual worlds. She has a natural ability to perform technokinesis, the ability to commune with electronics and subtly manipulate its electric flow.

Appearance
PHIA has medium length brown hair and wears a set of goggles on top of her head. Her attire of choice is usually a light blue jacket, running shorts and shoes. To help focus her technokinesis, she usually wears wrist guards for support. She also has fingerless gloves to allow electricity to flow out in a more concentrated fashion.

Personality
PHIA is very intelligent and ambitious, committing to plans and big ideas. As someone who likes getting things done, she often finds herself involved in all sorts of matters, especially helping others where she can. She cares very deeply for her grandmother and sees her as a role model.

PHIA often spends her time exploring abandoned buildings and ancient ruins, some of which still have intact virtual reality simulations. She is very passionate about virtuoarchaeology and history though part of her motivation if seeking out the thrill. When she is not spelunking and simply looking to relax, PHIA usually spends her time as a bookworm reading novels.

History
Origins
PHIA grew up in a monastery in the Midori District away from the city. Her family consists of the indirect descendants of the Empress Minerva, who wield the ability of technokinesis. She was raised as a monk and in turn, taught to control her powers to use them to help others and for self-defense. She grew up relatively isolated from others outside her community, but she yearned to explore the world beyond. Upon turning eighteen, she decided to pursue her passion and move to Port Oraulan to pursue a degree in Virtuoarchaeology at the University of Oraulan.

Student loans, however, became a struggle for her to pay off. In an effort to ease the financial burden, she started her own tech cleaner service called the PHIA Phorce, turning her passion for exploring obsolete tech into a part-time gig. While the old technology could be given a full reformatting to kill all the Rampants in one fell swoop, hiring cleaners was often the preferred solution in the hopes that any sort of valuable pre-Blackout knowledge could be recovered in the process.

During one particular cleaning job, she discovered evidence of a virtual life form trafficking ring which sought to poach innocent digital beings for an illegal substance known as cybernephrine. This got her involved with the criminal underworld as bad actors started to come after, having had to deal with thugs looking to rough her up.

Nevertheless, she persisted in trying to discover what sort of rot had set within the city of Oraulan. Staying with Mimi to lay low, she continued her cleaner job elsewhere, hoping to eventually uncover the conspiracy.
Meeting Trilla Skywell
While on a virtuoarcheology expedition at an abandoned research complex at Scar Canyon, PHIA saw a half-Sylph girl named Trilla Skywell. This girl had collapsed from getting in contact with a broken vrNet server that had malfunctioned and short-circuited after. When Sophia asked her what she was doing there, Trilla said she was there for a similar reason, studying some Valerian ruins.

A day later, she invited Trilla to stay while she put her university research on hold. Mostly out of curiosity, Trilla agreed. Watching PHIA explain what she saw in the complex gave Trilla a different kind of thrill, understanding the stories behind the places she risked her life exploring.

Thanks to Trilla joining the PHIA Phorce recently, her nickname wasn’t originally made by herself. After her backstory was being told, one of the PHIA Phorce’s members laughed and said that she not only survives anything but she seeks it. She might have a deeper reason for seeking thrills, hence why she got the nickname of the “Thrill Seeker” from PHIA Phorce in the first place, like the need to feel alive after a life-risking mission, or to escape from anything she doesn’t want to face.

Skills and Abilities
PHIA can control electricity through her genetic heritage as a Minervan, a bloodline derived from clones of the Valerian Empress Minerva. This gives her faster than normal reflexes and a deeper awareness of the flow of energy and electricity. She can also enter a trance to perform technokinesis - communicating directly with electronics by going into a trance. From there, she can manipulate the individual circuitry as a form of hacking. For example, by injecting specific electrical signals to change particular transistors, she can unlock electronic locks or otherwise cause computers to behave in unexpected ways.

In the virtual worlds, PHIA finds herself naturally able to accustom herself to it. She can very quickly adapt her avatar to seamlessly move with her thoughts. Depending on how attuned she is to a specific virtual world, she can move about almost in the way one would lucid dream.

With Mimi's help, she has trained in martial arts tailored to her natural abilities in the real world. With enough concentration, she can even form bolts of plasma in her hands. This plasma can be either be launched as a projectile or concentrated around her hands to enhance the power of her strikes. This allows her to take down Rampants and other hostile artificial life forms with only her fists. Though quite gifted in combat, PHIA often uses her technokinesis and electricity manipulation for more mundane purposes such as charging the batteries in her datapad.

Being a direct descendant of Empress Minerva, PHIA also has the ability to see into the past in locations where her ancestors may have interacted. She can catch glimpses of daily activities around ancient Valerian ruins and in rare cases, even discover previously unknown information.

Trilla Skywell (also known as the Thrill Seeker) is a half-Sylph Human and also being the most recent member of PHIA Phorce so far.

Appearance
Trilla is a half-Sylph Human with large dark purple hair with bangs, tanned skin, eyes with purple colored pupils, pointy ears and tall purple colored horns. Her choice of attire is tall tees, tunics, and small shorts.
Personality
Trilla has a rather shy and chill personality. She is fearless and resilient at the most, she has also learned how to manage fear and stay calm under pressure. Many people find her quirky personality intimidating whenever she’s expressing it in public.

Although she plays a role on the PHIA Phorce, from 2024 AB she started electronic music production and performing as a side job, and she’s well known for combining the drum and bass and chiptune genres into one. Her stage name is Thrill Seeker, same as her usual nickname.
History
While Sophia Delphi was researching on virtuoarcheology in an abandoned research complex near Scar Canyon on the planet Yeddo, she saw Trilla who had collapsed from getting in contact with a broken vrNet server that had malfunctioned and short-circuited after. When Sophia asked her what she was doing there, Trilla said that she was also there for the same reason, except that she was researching more on broken virtual platforms that are also archaic.

A day later, Sophia invited her to stay while she put her university research on pause. Mostly out of curiosity, Trilla agreed. Watching Sophia explain what she saw in the complex gave Trilla a different kind of thrill, understanding the stories behind the places she risked her life exploring.
Thanks to Trilla joining the PHIA Phorce in 2024 AB, her nickname wasn’t originally made by herself. ==Skills and abilities==
Because of her being half Sylph, a Human subspecies where its anatomy is built for stealth and agility, Trilla’s reaction time is really fast, as she’s able to move quickly, with reflexes so fast that they keep her one step ahead of danger. Thanks to this, she can easily distract the Rampants by doing so, which makes the rest of the PHIA Phorce members neutralize them easily. She has only tried melee and ranged weapons a few times, because she believes that wielding them isn’t her type.

The Galvanti Empire is a large preindustrial nation on the planet Erdria. While it is considered the most technologically advanced nation on that world, it is still at medieval levels of technology as Erdria's highly irregular seasonal cycle stalled recovery and development since the Blackout. Because of this, the Federation of Stellar Systems has deemed the Galvanti Empire the only location where offworlders are permitted contact so as to not to upset the natural development of the planet's society.

Because the rapid introduction of modern technology is banned, most trade with the Galvanti Empire from outworlders tend to be in the form of cultural customs and works of fiction. There is a strong tourism industry as many offworlders often get the chance to experience a glimpse into humanity's past. Citizens of the Galvanti Empire are also offered the opportunity to emigrate to other Federation worlds if they so choose if they wish to experience a modern lifestyle.
Overview
Despite being at preindustrial levels, the Galvanti Empire has still developed some impressive capabilities on its own. They have access to aqueducts to distribute water throughout major cities, telescopes and basic greenhouses where certain kinds of edible mushrooms are grown in caves with more consistent temperature year round. They are also in the early stages of discovering steam technology.

The Galvanti Empire has made attempts to study leftover Valerian Empire technology with mixed results. They have a societal class known as Tech Sages who interpret the Valerian technology through technokinesis. They have not discovered the biological processes that make technokinesis possible in humans although they do understand that it is genetically inherited, meaning that most Tech Sages tend to be nobility or royalty. They were able to successfully activate an ancient Valerian beacon on their own which was what led the Federation into discovering them. However, aside from setting up vrNet servers to allow offworld visitors, the Federation has withheld themselves from introducing any more technology as to not upset the balance. This is largely due to an incident where pirates had sold smuggled, illegal offworld weapons to a rival kingdom that they accidentally wiped themselves out with.
Culture
Music is very important in the Galvanti Empire. One band named the Starwalk Troupe travels offworld to share Galvanti culture with other worlds across the vrNet and the rest of the Federation.
May the best swordsman win. En garde!

Count Vladimir Drachma is a Merinian noble turned Games Arena fighter. He used to be human, but after suffering a mortal injury, he transferred his body into an android frame. He is known for a very unique style of nanomage combat which takes full advantage of his android body. In addition to being able to manipulate nanobots in general, he also manipulates his own body at a molecular level where he can transform himself into a near massless state. This effectively allows him to teleport short distances.

During the 2024 Yeddo Games Arena Summer Tournament, he was an opponent against the PHIA Phorce, specifically facing against Clover.
Appearance
Vladimir is a tall, elderly man with long black curly hair, a handlebar mustache, a trimmed black beard and large, bushy eyebrows. He wears a tricorn feathered hat, a long black coat with red trims as well as a red cloak. He carries with him a one-handed vibrating rapier. Despite his age, he remains in peak physical condition. His android body is identical in appearance to how he looked when he was still a human.

Vladimir is in fact over 250 years old. As an android, he has naturally been able to achieve a long lifespan.
Personality
As a master of maintaining composure, Vladimir is incredibly calm at nearly all times. Legend says one can count on a single hand the number of times he has ever lost his temper.

Vladimir is quite proud of his noble heritage, being able to trace it back to the ancient seafaring people on Merin who helped to rebuild that world following the Blackout.

Vladimir is also well-versed in various famous plays and poetry, able to recite them from memory. Usually, when he is not fighting in the Games Arena, he enjoys taking part in stage theatre. In general, he is an afficianado of any sort of classic literature and films.

When it comes to music, Vladimir is an enjoyer of the Starwalk Troupe.

Skills and abilities
Vladimir prefers to fight using only one hand with a vibrating rapier. He attacks with delicate precision and every strike he makes is calculated and quick. He also takes full advantage of his ability to teleport, usually appearing in unexpected places. Because he can control his own mass, he can even levitate in the air, something which he does rather frequently if he needs to gain the high ground.

Naturally, Vladimir has the same skillset of most nanomages although he prefers to focus primarily on swordplay and the manipulation of the nanobots of his own body. One unique implementation he has of the illusory copy ability is that he can change at will which one is the "real" one. This means each of his copies are actually real, meaning every copy of their swords can deal damage. However, for optimal effectiveness, he can only create a maximum of three other copies besides himself.

Additionally, given that he is made of nanobots, he can also transform into various different shapes. If he needs to avoid a series of powerful attacks coming at multiple angles, he can split himself apart into a series of smaller shapes which look like a swarm of bats.
Relationships
*Clover - Vladimir does think he is reckless, but admires his endurance and persistence.
*Drag0nNite443 - The two know each other and are good friends. They also spar with one another on occasion as both are proficient in fencing.

Infobox planet

Erdria is a planet in the binary star system Grian. Although the planet is habitable for humans, the planet has a highly irregular, elliptical orbit that loops around both stars. This causes a highly irregular, nigh-unpredictable seasonal cycle. Because this effectively stalled technological rediscovery following the Blackout, society on Erdria compared to its contemporaries reached no more than a preindustrial level before outside intervention from the Federation of Stellar Systems.

Society on Erdria is split into multiple smaller feudal states. Despite their medieval levels of technology, they also have a class of people known as Tech Sages who help to uncover the secrets of whatever Valerian Empire leftovers they happen to find.

Although they are in contact with the Federation, introducing new technologies is difficult due to the consequence of irreversibly disrupting their natural development. Trade became heavily restricted after one kingdom had wiped itself out using illegal weapons that a group of space pirates had sold them. Other societies on Erdria openly reject any Valerian technology and instead insist on using only what they developed themselves since the Blackout. Therefore, travel by outsiders is strictly limited to major cities within the Galvanti Empire, the most technologically advanced nation on Erdria.
Physical characteristics
Erdria is approximately 10% larger than Earth, but is slightly less dense with a lower surface gravity. The planet is relatively temperate on average although its summers and winters can last years at a time.
Biosphere
Flora
*Cave mushroom - The primary crop of Erdria. Cave mushrooms like their namesake grow in dark spaces with consistent temperature year round regardless of the seasonal cycle.
*Erdria conifer - Because of the irregular seasons, there are no deciduous trees on Erdria. Trees tend to be coniferous evergreens that retain their leaves year round. They are hardy plants resistant to a wide variety of weather conditions.
Fauna
*Unicorn - A genetic relative to horses they adapted to Erdria to have a horn on its head.
*Cow snail - A species of snail the size of cattle. They are commonly used for livestock while their shell clippings are often used for either decoration or building materials. The shell itself is also flame resistant.
*Fire wyrm - A giant species of snake that evolved a supplemental diet of metals. Using the metal build up around its fangs as well as a gas bladder, it can expel a flammable liquid that ignites upon contact with its teeth.
*Greater tarantula - A giant species of tarantula that fills the niche of pack hunting animals. They are considered a nuisance because of their tendency to hunt livestock, but they are kept in check by their natural predator the Fire wyrm.

*Fire Wyrm - A giant species of snake that evolved a supplemental diet of metals. These metals which build up around its fangs as well as a gas bladder that expels a flammable liquid that ignites upon contact with its teeth.
*Greater Tarantula - A giant species of tarantula that fills the niche of pack hunting animals. They are considered a nuisance because of their tendency to hunt livestock, but they are kept in check by their natural predator the Fire Wyrm.

Frey is a jungle moon orbiting the gas giant Asgard, located in the Yggdrasil system. It is the homeworld of the Sylph, a human offshoot subspecies that genetically modified themselves to survive in the moon's exotic environment.

Despite having a vibrant, colorful ecosystem, Frey's atmosphere is toxic to common humans due to the significantly higher levels of oxygen than Yeddo. Any human visiting this world must wear a breath mask.
History
In the ancient era long before the Valerian Empire, the societies of Earth had begun constructing generational ships to explore the galaxy. These starships were designed to carry human populations across thousands of lightyears in search of habitable worlds for humanity to permanently settle on. One of the identified worlds was the gas giant moon Frey which at the time was identified as having a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere suitable for human life. The ship that would head over to this location was the UES Ymir. However, upon arrival, it was discovered that in spite of the planet hosting a diverse amount of life, the air was not breathable for humans. With no option to return to Earth, the human colonists chose to use genetic modification to make themselves able to survive in the alien ecosystem. Over many thousands of years, they changed appearance to become the Sylph.

When they were contacted by the Valerian Empire, the Sylph initially took an isolationist stance. The Valerians wished to unite all of humanity to reach out to all the generational ships that had explored the galaxy many years prior, but the Sylph rejected their offer. This was among the early starting points of many political tensions that would eventually inspire the creation of the Oracle.
Points of interest
UES Ymir
The UES Ymir is the original generational ship that traveled from Earth to Frey for a period of five hundred years. After the original crew settled and populated the moon, the ship was left abandoned and overtaken by the elements. The outer hull is covered in plant-life and to outsider observers, it is seen as an odd, unnatural landscape formation.
Sylvania
Sylvania
A metropolis built around a Yggrasil Tree, an enormous species of tree that stands over two miles high. It has became a centerpiece of Sylph lifestyle with modern infrastructure built around it. It is considered a hub for trade and the main location from where starships enter the world.
Volok Chasm
Volok Chasm is considered cursed by many of the locals. It was once home to an ancient civilization known for performing profane rituals and blood sacrifices. According to legend, key figures in their society had seen the Oracle for its terrible power. As such, they professed that the best way to prepare for its inevitable return was to submit to it and accept the afterlife of eternal torment. Some of the robots that served as caretakers and assistants in these rituals are still active, and they actively capture unlucky individuals who wander too close by.

A dead Yggdrasil Tree overlooks the chasm, interpreted by many as an ominous warning.
Biosphere
Flora
Flora on Frey tends to be various shades of blue and purple. The colorings are thought to aid in resistint ultraviolet radiation.
*Lantern stalk - An upright plant that ends with a glowing bioluminiscent at its tip, serving as natural lanterns during the night.
*Platform tree - A giant tree with multiple flat canopies that are sturdy enough to walk on top of.
*Pitfall plant - A bowl-shaped plant buried below the ground with several large leaves covering it. Inside what resembles a mouth are a series of poisonous barbs. It lures prey with the scent of sweet nectar in an attempt to get it to fall inside and become impaled by the barbs.
*Moss Spire - Gigantic spires of blue moss that reach half a mile high. They are most common in the polar regions where they don't face as much competition from other flora.
*Yggdrasil Tree - An enormous tree standing two miles. It is thought to take at least 10,000 years to grow to full height. Its bark is remarkably strong like stone leading the native Sylph to construct entire cities within them. There are approximately 600 living adult specimens across the entire moon.
*Acid Algae - A carnivorous species of algae adapted to live in bogs with low levels of nitrogen. This gives rise to acid swamps that slowly dissolve anything that falls in the water.
Fauna
Most vertebrates on Frey have evolved to have four eyes.
*Sky Ray - A manta ray like creature that flies in the sky in large flocks, feeding on floating plankton. They communicate with one another with song-like wailing which echoes across much of the moon's landscape.
*Kirin - A giraffe like creature that migrates across the whole world, congregating at the poles.
*Cath Palug - One of the apex predators of Frey. It resembles big cats from Earth such as a panther. Its dark, aquamarine fur is adorned with bioluminiscent glow that allows it to camoflage itself into its surroundings. They were revered by ancient Sylph tribes as spirit guardians that maintained the natural order.
*Forest slug - A bright, colorful gastropod that feeds on detritus. They are considered a delicacy for the Sylph, and are eaten raw, sometimes while they are still alive.
*Flying axolotl - An arboreal salamander-like creature that can glide short distances when jumping from tree to tree. It is known for its colorful crests and horns.
*Blobfrog - An amphibian shaped like a ball with four eyes on stalks. It dwells in swamps, camoflaging itself in the mud and waits in ambush for prey that it can swallow whole in one gulp. The Blobfrog is also known keeping its eggs inside its own stomach, and once they are ready to hatch, they are vomited out.
*Sky tunicate - A flying organism that is completely transparent, including its organs. It flies through the air using flagela, and with its wide open maw, it engulfs prey - usually other flying animals.
*Charybdis fish - A colossal fish-like creature that exceeds 100 feet in length. It is large enough to gulp down small boats, singlehandedly making oceanic exploration on Frey incredibly dangerous.

The Federation of Stellar Systems is a galactic government that formed starting from the planet Yeddo. After the fall of the Valerian Empire, they actively explored the galaxy to reach out to other planetary systems inhabited by humans.

When they became stretched too thin, infighting led to the Virtual Wars. The war came to an end when Virtuoso stepped in to negotiate a ceasefire.
Organization
The Federation is run by a council lead by a Magistrate. The Magistrate is democratically elected and runs for a seven year term. A Magistrate is allowed only two terms.
Known Magistrates
*Copernicus Nova (1998 AB - 2012 AB) - Known for his tenure during the Virtual Wars. After an attempted assassination in 2008 AB, he went into hiding while a deepfake version of him replaced him until the conclusion of his term. It is said that Copernicus Nova is still hiding out somewhere. It is also believed that the deepfake version of him was sabotaged and used to the advantage of other groups of interest.
*Aldebaran Watts (2012 AB - 2019 AB)
*Drake Mintaka (2019 AB - present)
Military
The Federation has a strong, standing military which primarily focuses on keeping the citizens safe from Rampants and other hostile forces. It is split into multiple branches.
Ground Corps
The Ground Corps are military forces specialized on fighting on the solid surfaces of planets and moons. They serve as the primary defense against Rampant incursions and invasions by hostile nations.
Liquid Navy
The Liquid Navy specializes in mobilizing across liquids, making use of battleships, aircraft carriers and more. Most of the time, they are within water but they have also operated within worlds filled with liquid methane.
Atmosphere Corps
The Atmosphere Corps specializes in mobilizing intraplanetary vehicles within the atmospheres of planets and moons. Their arsenal consists of a variety of aerial vehicles such as fighter jets and drones. They also make use of flight combat suits.
Spaceguard
The Spaceguard specializes in combat and defense in deep space, usually within high orbit of planets. They also help protect worlds from asteroids and other debris.
City Watch
The City Watch serve the role of police, focusing on law enforcement and emergency services.
Virtual Corps
The Virtual Corps specializes in protecting the vrNet servers from cyber attacks.
Members nations
Unlike the Valerian Empire which administered areas on a planetary basis, individual countries on planets are considered for membership basis. This is largely because since the Blackout, many worlds fractured into smaller polities.
*Oraulan Commonwealth
Most of civilization exists in the twilight band between the day and the night sides.
Columbia's extensive farmland makes it one of the galaxy's largest exporters of organically grown food. With the planet's lack of seasons and virtual lack of an axial tilt, the same crops can be grown year round. Some varieties of food such as potatoes and corn were specifically bred to adapt to grow better under Columbia's sun.
History
Columbia's locals are genetically related to the Merinians, with Columbia being the older of the two colonies. During the Blackout, Columbia faced massive technological regression as without the vrNet and steady trade from other worlds, they lacked the infrastructure to maintain their higher tech establishments. However, one of the first bits of pre-Blackout information that was recovered from a virtuoarchaeological expedition was a Valerian historical record containing a snapshot vrNet world depicting the American Revolution. Recovered from the snapshot was a virtual life form depiction of George Washington who since became promoted to machine god status.

The contents of this snapshot of history, even if it was very brief, proved to be very influential towards Columbian culture. Various lifestyles and fashion choices were adopted, and perhaps among some of the most valuable documents they discovered: full text copies of the Declaration of Independence as well as the United States of America Constitution. Because of the themes of revolution and independence ingrained in their culture, Columbia was initially hesitant to join the Federation of Stellar Systems, fearing that they would repeat history. Negotiations took over one hundred years to complete before Columbia became a Federation member.

During the Virtual Wars, the Insurgency attempted to get Columbia to side with them, but they declined. It wasn't until the Insurgency chose to directly attack them that Columbia became involved in the war.
Columbia's extensive farmland makes it one of the galaxy's largest exporters of organically grown food. The planet's tidal locking allows for food to be grown during the entire year rather than being limited to artificial environments or during specific seasons.

Cities
Montgomery
The largest city on Columbia and the capital of the Federal Republic of Columbia. It is a mix of old and new buildings with marble white architecture.

The Olympus Mons Historical Series was a series of virtual worlds created during the early years of the Valerian Empire in an attempt to make historical documentations of ancient Earth. They are populated by virtual life forms who are programmed to reenact major events while still being dynamic enough to fill in the gaps of documented history.

The simulations were designed to run in real-time and would reset once time had progressed past the scope of the desired time period. The virtual life forms believed themselves to be humans within that time period, but when approached by a visitor, they would enter a lucid state and become aware that they are in a simulation. This would allow them to answer questions and provide historical context and reasoning for what is currently happening. Essentially, this allowed for scholars and students to study history in far greater detail than ever before.

These simulations were also the main source of training data used in the construction of the Oracle. Most of them were destroyed during the Blackout, but surviving copies exist throughout the galaxy in the form of redundant backup drives and data caches from old vrNet servers. However, most of them are heavily degraded and infested with Rampants.

The Federation of Stellar Systems has heavily regulated the exploration of these virtual worlds due to their photorealistic appearance. Aside from the presence of Rampants, visitors also risk becoming afflicted with a condition known as virtual reality psychosis where someone may lose the ability to distinguish between the virtual and real worlds. These simulations were designed primarily to be viewed by Valerians who had naturally more advanced cognition and perception that would effectively made them immune to the condition.
Known time periods
*Construction of the Pyramids of Giza
*Rise and Fall of Julius Ceasar
*Reign of Oda Nobunaga
*Life of Joan of Arc
*American Revolution
*American Civil War
*World War I
*World War II
*Founding of Bee-Sus
Experimental variants
These experimental variants of these simulations were never made available publicly to citizens of Valerian Empire due to their unfinished and/or risky state.
*Complete History of Earth - An ambitious project that was meant to consist of all time periods in one giant simulation, even going back as far as the formation of Earth in the solar system. The project was never finished due to budget constraints and the tremendous amount of energy needed. It is speculated that it could have been completed within another few thousand years if the Singularity War never happened.
*Alternate Histories - While the original time periods were designed to be alterable and adaptable to visitors, a series of speculative alternate sagas were planned to explore scenarios of what would happen if the outcomes of wars played out differently. Ultimately, this ended up being used solely for military and scientific purposes with no suitable release being made public.
Fictional works
A later iteration of the Olympus Mons Historical Series began to adapt literary works and early films after the immense value of entertainment was discovered. They are considered just as valuable as the main historical series given their insight into human nature.
*The works of Shakespeare
*The works of Robert Louis Stevenson
*The works of Sir Arther Conan Doyle
Notable virtual life forms
Some virtual life forms that originated from these simulations have become notable in having become entirely independent.
*George Washington - Discovered from an American Revolution simulation, he helped to rebuild society on the planet Columbia after a dark period following the Blackout.
*Abraham Lincoln - Originated from the American Civil War simulation, a copy of Abraham Lincoln became a street vigilante hunting and destroying Rampants.

Franzo the Clown (real name Franzo Schimberg) is an eccentric individual that runs an underground virtual reality circus in the Condemned Zone of Yeddo. One of the main attractions for onlookers is watching others survive a variety of crazy virtual reality challenges that if failed, will cause them to die in the real world. These virtual reality worlds are very surreal and will often play off the worst fears of the person trapped inside.

During the Virtual Wars, Franzo kidnapped displaced refugees to use for his attractions, including children. A young AngelHair was among those taken, but she was rescued by her father Joshua Harrison also known as Bouncer. When Bouncer defeated Franzo, he earned the moniker of "Killer of Clowns". However, Franzo managed to survive with a consciousness backup and would go into hiding for many years.
Appearance
Franzo has a twisted, disfigured appearance with a permanent smile, his crooked, yellowing teeth always showing. His skin is dyed pale white with makeup, and he has red curly hair and a bright red nose.
Personality
Franzo is sick, twisted with a sadistic sense of humor. He also holds extreme nihilistic beliefs, believing that the universe is nothing more than an elaborate virtual reality simulation - a playground of the gods in his words. Although he is incredibly psychopathic, he has a rather magnetic charisma. He likes to put on a good show. His favorite brand of humor is the use of darkly comedic puns.
History
Franzo was originally an esteemed virtuoarchaeologist that studied ancient Valerian virtual reality simulations. In a classified location, he discovered what turned out to be a surviving node of the Oracle that was disconnected from the original network that once existed during the Singularity War. When Franzo entered it, he was subject to intense mental torture. While he managed to escape, he started to believe that he never actually returned to the real world and thought he was still in the simulation. Even after attempts at rehabilitation, his mind degraded until he became the sick, twisted person he is - having little regard for the lives of others.

Yeddo is the fourth planet from the orange class K star Perry, which is about 0.8 times the mass of Earth's sun. In the ancient past, almost the entire planet was covered in one large city - After the fall of the Valerian Empire, many of these buildings fell into disarray, with the least polluted areas being reclaimed by nature. Despite this, the Federation of Stellar Systems was able to form a civilization here, getting its jumpstart from the wealth of Valerian paleotechnology left behind in the area. As a result, Yeddo has historically been home to the leading innovators on virtual reality technology and faster-than-light communication.

Though slightly smaller in diameter and denser in mass, Yeddo is comparable to the size of Earth. It has one large moon named Ezo which is surrounded by a faint ring system comprised of ancient space junk. Though it was found well within the habitable zone, little more than microbes were in the native ecosystem when the planet was first settled. It was terraformed into a world more suitable for humans over thousands of years in an effort to create an Earth-like homeworld in another star system. To early spacefaring humans, Yeddo was considered a better long term planetary settlement than either Mars or Venus due to its remarkable similarity to Earth, so much so that after the Blackout humanity began to believe that Yeddo was actually their original homeworld. This theory was only recently called into question with the discovery of several species of anaerobic bacteria that had a radically different DNA structure than humans.

Yeddo's moon contains numerous servers that serve as communication relays. They aid in the large bandwidths required to transmit virtual reality instances across the galaxy. Their remote location away from human civilization has also allowed for a safe means of a heat sink. More modern servers are deep space satellites, but the ones on Yeddo were among the first interstellar capable VR servers ever created.
Physical Characteristics
The atmosphere was not originally breathable by humans. Because of the slow process of terraforming and the desperation to settle down a habitable world in large droves at the time (due to much of humanity experiencing bone mass loss as a result of time spent in zero gravity environments), Yeddo quickly underwent aggressive urbanization. Nearly the entire planet became covered in sprawling cities. The buildings served as makeshift biodomes until the planet's atmosphere was made to be fully breathable by humans with oxygen levels comprising approximately 22% of the atmosphere. This was done by introducing Earth native plant life, mostly lichens and mosses as they were hardier and more adaptable to the native ecosystem than other types of plants.

Due to the extensive urban development, the atmosphere contains smog that turns the sky a purplish hue. A similar purple hue is observed on the oceans which cover around 70% of the planet. These oceans are mined for salt, but most of Yeddo's oceanic goods are imported from the planet Merin. Despite the pollution, Yeddo has developed a reputation for having beautiful sunsets as the orange sun against the purple sky gives a unique vista that has only been replicated in the virtual worlds.

Some of Yeddo's older structures have become part of the landscape. Old skyscrapers that are abandoned become home to a variety of different species of birds and small mammals.
Geography
Yeddo has two large continents. The largest of the two is a supercontinent often called Northern Yeddo or mainland Yeddo. While the inland consists mostly of deserts and mountains, the coastlines are tropical jungles, marshes and wetlands.

The southern continent is approximately one eighth the size of the mainland and features a similar geography as the north, albeit with different species that evolved in relative isolation. Additionally, as it is located south of the equator, it experiences opposite seasons to that of the north.

Many smaller islands and archipelagos dot the rest of the oceans.
Ecosystem
Yeddo was terraformed in the distant past to be a habitable planet for humanity. The majority of life on the planet was imported from Earth, but over thousands of years, some animals evolved into different species to adjust to Yeddo's different environment.

Some synthetic life forms have also taken up niches in Yeddo's ecosystem after years of occupation by technologically advanced civilizations.
Flora
*Purple oak - An oak tree that through a genetic mutation received purple leaves.
*Cherry blossom - A plant known for spreading beautiful pink petals in the spring time. It is near identical to its Earth counterpart, but it adapted to have slightly different seasonal variations to adjust to Yeddo's different day and year lengths than Earth.
*Solar panel tree - A synthetic life form tree brought over from Archaetron. It absorbs sunlight through solar panel structures that take the place of leaves.
*Giant potato - A plant that originated from ancient aeroponics bays. It is a genetically engineered potato that became loose in the wild. They are most often found in the Midori District.
*Glowplankton - At certain coastal areas, these glowing plants gather up near the shore to make for a luminous site. Their gathering spots make for popular tourist destinations.
*Beartrap plant - A carnivorous plant with leaves resembling a set of jaws and, as its name suggests, a bear trap. These leaves close upon any living prey and digest them with acid. It is large enough to capture small rabbits. It is hazardous to humans in that they can enclose themselves around someone's foot. Despite this, they are sometimes used by humans for hunting as well as makeshift perimeter security.
Fauna
*Waste disposal bug - A robotic arthropod that eats trash. They are often found in landfills, with the greatest population of them being in the Condemned Zone.
*Oraulan bullfrog - A large species of amphibian that dwells in swamps. They are known for their croaking sounds that echo across natural landscapes.
*Ferogator - A distant relative to crocodiles. They have an incredibly powerful bite force, but curiously, they are afraid of cats.
*Grey python - A 30 foot long snake that is invasive to the Oraulan Shores area. It is a competitor to the Ferogator.
*Oraulan giant leech - A species of leech found in the waters of the Oraulan East Condemned Zone.
*Lion snail - These snails grow to over a foot in length.
*Ateno greater scorpion - Found in the Ateno Desert, these scorpions are one of the largest crustaceans in Yeddo. They are a delicacy that rivals the lobber, but they are more expensive due to how difficult they are to capture and raise. Their venomous stinger and claws are difficult to contend with.
*Deathvenom cobra - A highly venomous species of king cobra that can spit venom at a distance. A single bite can kill someone in less than 15 minutes if left untreated. The venom is also used in a variety of medicinal uses as well as forms of poison.
*Giant bobbit worm - A seafaring ambush predator that lives in coral reefs around the equator. While its normal prey consists of large fish and sharks, it is large enough to grab humans, so extreme caution must be taken when exploring the oceans of Yeddo.

Cities
Port Oraulan
Port Oraulan
Port Oraulan, sometimes known as Oraulan Shores, is a coastal district located in the planet's tropical region. It is among the most popular AR locations in the galaxy with multiple VR worlds inspired by it. To many, it's a paradise resort for VR travelers throughout the galaxy. The coastline is oriented towards the west where Yeddo's signature sunsets are arguably best viewed. Many activities take place here such as parties, concerts and music festivals.

In addition to being a popular tourist destination, the area is also an important industrial location. In addition to being a seaport, it is also a starport for goods that go to and from orbit. Doubling as a space elevator, a large vrNet server known as the Star Lift is located approximately five miles off the coast which helps to serve as a relay between the planet and the deep space megastructures where further vrNet traffic is forwarded to other star systems.

The city is also connected through a series of highways where self-driving cars travel at speeds of more than 200 miles per hour. These roads are sometimes used by thrillseekers going manual to drag race on. Despite it being illegal, it is still done anyway.

In the years following the Virtual Wars, the oceans have become significantly more polluted making some areas unsafe to swim. This has not hindered the virtual reality tourism however.
Taranis
Taranis is a city-state located deep within the Condemned Zone. It hosts a government independent to the Federation and of Virtuoso's direct influence. A country sitting on the brink of a brutal civil war, Taranis is totalitarian state currently ruled by a woman named Phyliss Taranis, thought to be related to the Delphi family. Taranis operates mostly as an isolationist state that aims to be a utopia with the promise of free access to virtual reality for all citizens. Taranis is believed by its people to be a goddess incarnate and rules over almost every aspect of a citizen's life.

Through official means, it is only possible to enter Taranis by air as the entire nation is surrounded by walls that are fifty meters tall. Old sewer tunnels and abandoned subways are sometimes used by smugglers to travel to and from the nation, and some of these paths are part of an intricate network to escort refugees to Oralaun. Because these underground paths go directly through the condemned zone, few will travel far enough before encountering ruthless gangs and crime syndicates.

Infamously, Taranis was home to an event known as the Mogus Purge. The Mogus, wandering extraterrestrials from another galaxy, had formed a population in the region, and were considered nuisances and pests. Thus, in a controversial move, every Mogus in the area was methodically rounded up and killed with only a scant few survivors.
Kantoh
Kantoh
Kantoh is an advanced metropolis located on a small archipelago located east of the main continent. Many of the Valerian ruins located in this area were in surprisingly good condition, and the natives rediscovered architectural techniques at an accelerated rate compared to other regions of the planet. However, until the late 1800s AB, they were relatively isolated from the rest of the world due to self-imposed restrictions on trade. Kantoh is also known for having a population consisting of more than 70% of hybrids, more than most areas on Yeddo.
Lycanton
Lycanton
A small town home to traditionalist werewolves found within the Condemned Zone. It is often considered the final rest stop for adventurers and explorers looking to explore the ancient Valerian ruins ahead.
Hope
Hope
A suburban town once founded as a means of recolonizing the Oraulan East Condemned Zone. It was destroyed during the Virtual Wars while Rampants rove the ruins.
Myam
Myam
A city located north of Port Oraulan, connected via Highway 322. Myam borders the Oraulan North Condemned Zone, and naturally, sees a lot of crime. One notable location is the Onion Arcade, a virtual reality arcade and a gathering for bounty hunters.

Regions
Oraulan Shores
Oraulan Shores
The western most part of the continent is home to some of the highest density population on the planet. It is a highly urbanized coastal region, notably the location of the capital Port Oraulan.
Midori Gardens
Midori Gardens
A pastoral region south of Port Oraulan. It consists of the overgrown remains of ancient Valerian aeroponics bays.
Condemned Zones
Condemned Zone
Officially, these areas exists outside of Federation territory and therefore, emergency services are considered unavailable in this location. The Federation's and Virtuoso's neglect to gentrify the area has invited many criminal gangs, making it a dangerous place to live in. The deepest portions of the region do not receive any emergency or law enforcement services, and any citizens in those areas are assumed to be in them at their own risk.

It is usually safest to explore this region with an AR avatar though some nefarious groups and even some automated defense systems may broadcast viruses or other malicious programs that may infect any AR users.
There are several regions of Yeddo that are designated Condemned Zones.
*Oraulan North Condemned Zone - The ancient ruins of a Valerian megacity. The structures are decaying and on the verge of collapse.
*Oraulan East Condemned Zone - A swampy, polluted wetland that became a Condemned Zone thanks to the Virtual Wars.

Geothermal Engine
The Geothermal Engine is an extensive undeground complex extending throughout most of the planet's deeper subterranean regions. Built out of the planet's deep caverns, it is comprised of a series of spacious maintenance tunnels filled with extensive Valerian machinery often situated near underground volcanoes and lava tunnels. While the Valerian Empire still inhabited the planet, they used the Geothermal Engine to harvest heat from the planet's core to turn it into energy. Because most of the area is in disrepair, this has limited the capabilities of restoring power to other ruined structures on the surface. After years of remaining abandoned by its owners, these structures serve mostly as hideouts for pirates and black market businesses. Many refugees that became displaced during the Virtual Wars had fled to the Geothermal Engine to form makeshift settlements.
Polaria Isles
On Yeddo's north pole is an archipelago of frozen islands. It was once a much larger landmass thousands of years ago, but has since broken up due to the planet's terraformation attempts in the past. The area is incredibly remote though the town of Nordran has a sizeable population. In an isolated region, various strains of Rampant viruses are kept under close guard. Supposedly, the only reason they haven't been eradicated yet is to study them in the event of future outbreaks.
Bastion Mountains
The Bastion Mountains separate Oraulan Shores from the Ateno Desert. It is responsible for casting a rainshadow on most of the mainland.
Ateno Desert
Ateno Desert
The Ateno Desert makes up a large portion of the inner main continent. The area used to be another Valerian megacity, but the area desertified following an ancient battle during the Singularity War. Much of the original structures have been swallowed by the dunes. Despite this, a thriving ecosystem has managed to reclaim the area along with prosperous settlements such as Al-Ghato.

One of the most prominent features of the desert is Scar Canyon, a large chasm that is at least several miles deep. The canyon is unusually straight, making it quite obvious that it is not a natural formation. It is speculated that during the Singularity War, a planet destroying weapon was fired upon the surface by Oracle forces. Though it missed, it grazed by the surface, creating the chasm. The result was massive dust clouds and debris blocking out the sun which caused mass extinctions and serious environmental damage. Although the planet survived, it forced the inhabitants to evacuate the planet, leaving behind ruins to be rediscovered after the Blackout.
Miranga Jungle
Miranga Jungle

To the southeast of Midori Gardens is Miranga Jungle, a former Valerian megacity now overgrown with vegetation to the point where the original skyscrapers appear as pillars of green growth connected by vines. The local population is mostly made of Simians who are easily adept to climbing and navigating the area vertically.

MRS Emissary
The MRS Emissary is a Merinian ship located in the ocean west of Port Oraulan. It is a seafaring colony of the Kingdom of Merin. Unlike most of Merin's ships which are mostly constructed for military purposes, the Emissary is a non-combat vessel with the intent of it being a tourist destination. Visitors can enjoy authentic Merinian culture here while a number of Merinian residents also live here.

Krayfishkarl:

Virtual life forms (or VR life forms for short) are digital AI's that evolved within the procedurally generated landscapes of the vrNet. What makes them different than standard AI's is that they were not created directly by humans, but rather the evolutionary algorithms that drive the development of virtual worlds over thousands of years. Like organic life forms in the physical world, virtual life forms vary heavily in intelligence and instincts - they exist as part of a greater virtual ecosystem. Due to the immense variety of virtual worlds, new virtual life forms are constantly being discovered.

Virtual life forms can take a variety of appearances depending on the rules of their native world. Many have been compared to microbial ecosystems, exhibiting amorphous shapes. Others may emulate multicellular beings - especially in the virtual worlds designed to simulate realistic physical worlds. Evolution happens at a much more accelerated rate than organic life forms. What may take millions of years for organic life to evolve can take only a few centuries due to how rapidly changing a virtual environment can be.

Virtual life forms may also exhibit psychologies vastly different than any organic being. As such, when it comes to their more intelligent varieties, proper first contact procedures must be taken care of. Because virtual worlds evolves far more quickly than any physical world, the consequences of human interaction can be felt at a far more accelerated rate.

Virtual life forms share a common ancestor with similar synthetic life such as Scrapborn, synthetic life forms and androids. Thus, all of them have very similar physiology. What sets virtual life forms apart is that they are not directly tied to a specific piece of hardware, and they can freely transfer themselves between virtual worlds and other computer systems.
Cyberbiology
The first virtual life form was the equivalent to a single-celled organism. It was a program developed by the Valerians designed to adapt to its digital environment. This life form would mutate over centuries following the principles of Darwininian evolution. They have an instinct to compete with one another for survival, consuming electricity and bandwidth and even other virtual life forms. They eventually reproduce while each subsequent generation has some sort of random mutation to help it evolve.

The most advanced clades of virtual life forms have evolved complex neural mechanisms that are on par with organic life forms ranging from different types of animals to rivaling that of humans. The parts of their program that define perception and the processing of information consist of analogues to different types of emotions. This is regulated through a series of encoded data known as cybernephrine. It is unknown how cybernephrine evolved but it is thought to have first appeared among virtual life forms around 10,000 years ago.

Remarkably, cybernephrine also has effects on organic life when transposed digitally into an organic nervous system. It is thought that virtual life forms evolved similar systems through a combination of convergent evolution and adaptation to interactions with organic life.
Lifespan
Virtual life forms tend to have long lifespans compared to organic life. Many can live for centuries depending on the environment and some can even enter a state of stasis for thousands of years. The main limiting factor of their lifespan is the integrity of their cognitive processes as well as their ability to repair corrupt files. To maintain healthy systems, many virtual life forms will purge older or unused memories to prevent cognitive deterioration. Some will also store their old memories in external drives for archival purposes so that they can reload them again as needed.

A complete system wipe and reboot is considered a form of death due to the cessation of the previous consciousness. Therefore, virtual life forms will often choose not to do this unless absolutely necessary.
Subspecies
*Machine god - An exceptionally powerful virtual life form with supercomputer level capabilities. Their intelligence greatly exceeds that of most other life forms, so to many, they are considered gods.
*Scrapborn - A virtual life form that arose in isolation within older, seemingly disused pieces of technology.
*Holofauna - A class of virtual life form that tends to fill the niche of animals as well as creatures of folklore. They have varying levels of intelligence with some capable of full speech. What sets them apart from other virtual life forms is that they tend to live in the wild as opposed to being fully fledged citizens.
*Lux - An ancient type of virtual life form that directly served the emperor or empress of the Valerian Empire as messengers, analysists and a variety of other assistant positions.
*Bandwidth eater - A pest that feeds off of the bandwidth on vrNet servers.

Galactic Crucibles is a vrNet science fiction series set in a universe inhabited by multiple civilizations of extraterrestrials. They coexist in a spacefaring society known as the Galactic Senate. Galactic Crucibles has been adapted into numerous media such as films, video games and virtual reality experiences.

The in-universe massive multiplayer online game Myth Galaxy featured within Galactic Crucibles' background lore has also been adapted into the real world as Galactic Crucibles: Myth Galaxy. It is considered a competitor to Dreaming Kingdoms. Friendly rivalries exist between the fandoms of both games, and because both games share the same engine, avatars are compatible between the two.

Much of the technology described in Galactic Crucibles is considered not much more advanced than the Valerian Empire was at its apex. Thus, outside of the extraterrestrial characters, many also consider the genre to overlap with historical-inspired. For example, the superintelligent AI known as LUCIS appears to be heavily influenced by the Oracle.
Controversy
Galactic Crucibles faced some backlash after including references to a rumored terrorist organization known as the Serpent's Fang as well as dangerous figure of conspiracy known as the Basilisk. Not only was the exact same name used to describe a faction within the universe, but that same faction held a similar belief system about resurrecting a long dormant hostile AI. Some concerned activist groups were looking to either censor or ban Galactic Crucibles for supposed insensitivity. The authors have since insisted that the inspiration was purely based on folklore.

Some conspiracists allege that the entirety of Galactic Crucibles is actually real in another universe, and that the Basilisk contacted the authors of Galactic Crucibles to prepare humanity for its arrival. Naturally, the authors also deny this.

The Dreaming Kingdoms are a series of VR worlds from a massive multiplayer online roleplaying game. These servers are located on the moons of the gas giant Animus Prime, and the fictional world the MMO is set in is named after the planet.

Dreaming Kingdoms runs off a customized version of the Sundew Engine, meaning that it is compatible with general avatars of the Sundew Framework, but the world rules are highly customized. This means that any outsiders need to adapt to very specific rules made for the game. However, as a side effect, player combat abilities will actually work outside of the game in other VR worlds and even AR projections in the real world. Specially modified avatars that originated in the Dreaming Kingdoms have actually been used during the Virtual Wars.
Overview
The setting for the game is a medieval fantasy world filled with knights, castles, dragons and other mythical creatures. Players can take the role of many different classes and learn many different crafting skills. Basic activities include slaying monsters to gain experience points and treasure, trading with other players in an automated economy and building one's own settlements. Players willing to take risks can even participate in player versus player activity to obtain the loot from their fallen enemies. The in-game AI is also fully adaptable - while it still follows scripted story events and quests, it can change its behaviors based on player interactions. Some players have even started families and genuine religions based on the in-game lore.

The primary currency used by players is known as Dreaming Kingdoms Gold. In the black market, this has a real-world value. Some players engage in illegal activities known as goldfarming where they sell the gold for real money. Others use non-sentient AI's to automatically control their avatars to perform repetitive, tedious tasks.

Some players have started extortion rings by having players pay for protection while grinding for valuable resources in player versus player regions.
Clover (alias: Cyrus Robyn) is an android with a remarkable human resemblance. Hailing from a technologically advanced society on the ringworld of Torus, he moved to Yeddo to escape the influence of Virtuoso, a megacorporation that runs an uncontested monopoly at his homeland. Androids manufactured on Torus are consciousness uploads, but it is not clear who Clover used to be as a human, only that he shares the likeness of a young boy who had died in a tragic accident several years ago. Nevertheless, Virtuoso has taken a strong interest in him, and Clover would rather not have their attention.

Looking to start a new life, Clover took up a life as a bounty hunter. He became quite familiarized with the complex network of criminal activities that runs throughout Yeddo's dark underbelly.

Appearance
Clover has medium-length dark purple hair and usually wears all black. His left arm is not covered in skin, exposing its metal materials.
Personality
Clover is quite reclusive and generally keeps to himself. Perhaps due to his unusual upbringing or perhaps he does not want to be followed by Virtuoso's eyes and ears throughout the galaxy. Nevertheless, he is quite witty and intelligent if not a little cynical sometimes. The colorful personalities of the PHIA Phorce are quite appealing to him, though as a bounty hunter, he must constantly remind himself that friends can become foes if the right amount of credits is passed around.

Clover is also a fan of science fiction. He enjoys the sci-fi franchise Galactic Crucibles, having a vested interest in the relations and politics between all the different extraterrestrial factions.
Equipment and abilities
Clover's android body comes equipped with technology far beyond most of what is seen accessible in Yeddo. He has nanobots that can heal his injuries - injuries that are considerably rare to begin with given his sturdy carbon fiber shell. He favors wielding a single plasma sword as main weapon, allowing him to make decisive work of his targets. To remain versatile in multiple scenarios, he also carries a plasma knife and a mass driver pistol.

As an android, he does have the capacity to transfer himself to another body. However, his main body is expensive and difficult to replace, so he prefers to make sure it is kept intact when possible.
Much of the technology described in Galactic Crucibles is considered not much more advanced than the Valerian Empire was at its apex. Galactic Crucibles faced some backlash after including references to a rumored terrorist organization known as the Serpent's Fang as well as dangerous figure of conspiracy known as the Basilisk.
Exodus is the name of the electronic musician duo of Weston Elliott and Orion Faderson from Port Oraulan, Yeddo.
History
Exodus began in 2021 AB, starting off with the melodic dubstep genre. Most of their early work was instrumental with Weston supplying vocals to only a handful of songs. Over the course of the next three years, 70% of their songs featured vocals, and they eventually transitioned from melodic dubstep to future bass, progressive and melodic house music.

The year 2024 AB was a major time for Exodus. Due to mentoring from Voyager, also known as Felix Neptunus, as well as releasing music under Voyager's label Solaris, Exodus became incredibly popular across Port Oraulan. Exodus had also collaborated to produce liquid drum and bass with Trilla Skywell. Their collaborations were significantly much calmer and smoother than Trilla's usual output of intense drum and bass and chiptune style music.

One of the most poignant moments of Exodus' career that year was during the debut performance of their new original song Sorrow. In the middle of the show, Weston broke down in tears as he became overwhelmed by the song's lyrics which had themes of self-reflection and grief. Despite this, the crowd empathized with him and cheered him on, with even some crying alongside him.
Reception
Exodus has many fans, including some members of the PHIA Phorce. Other individuals such as Kyara of the Sea Catchers learned how to produce music from Weston's vrNet broadcasts. The emotional themes heavily resonate with listeners, especially among a generation that grew up during an uncertain time following the tenuous truce of the Virtual Wars.

While Exodus was under Voyager's label, some outspoken fans on social media accused Orion of not doing anything other than being a DJ and MC on stage, and that Weston should be the only person under the Exodus name. This criticism, however, was largely considered ignorant and immature as it did not take into account the fact that Orion was the audio engineer and designer. Most of the songs from Exodus' discography were made with presets that Orion created himself. Thankfully, this was resolved after a short time during one of Orion's interviews.
Orion Faderson is a young Scrapborn virtual life form born from the decaying logic board of a DJ controller. He is the adoptive son of Dorian Faderson, an audio engineer and a virtual life form researcher.
He and Weston Elliott are a duo, who perform both in the real world and virtual reality under the name of Exodus. They not only produce future bass, progressive and melodic house music, but they also play them. The stage name Exodus became a mainstream DJ and musician duo in early 2021 AB. In Exodus, Orion plays the role of not only the audio engineer, but also the DJ and MC when he's on stage.
Appearance
For a Scrapborn virtual life form, Orion has humanoid resemblances. He has dark blue short hair that is sometimes curly, dark blue skin, mint colored eyes and a white cross shaped birthmark on where his right eye is.
Personality
Orion doesn’t stress easily. He’s energetic and chill towards others, he even gets excited by anything on some occasions. Orion "glitches" briefly when excited like a DJ rewind, and he also plays a sound similar to a record scratch whenever he’s frightened or annoyed.
History
Although Dorian Faderson, his father, and Vincent Elliott are close friends, during a visit in Dorian’s laboratory, while they were both discussing virtual life form research, Weston noticed that Dorian brought 6-year old Orion over, and he started telling Dorian that he wants to hang out with his son with no hesitation.

After Weston met him for the first time, they clicked. They shared their interests with each other, and by the time they were both in their teens, they started to take music more seriously. They learned how to blend their strengths, being Weston’s natural production and vocals, and Orion’s creative energy. He also showed Weston the audio engineering skills he learned from his father and Weston had a huge interest in trying music production thanks to that. 2021 AB marked their mainstream debut, a performance on both global virtual reality and physical arena stages.

Emily Reeds recently started to be a fan of Exodus after she went to one of their sets, and she recommended them to the Phan Club and also to Sophia Delphi herself. She told Emily how they’re both fitting for the PHIA Phorce, considering that Orion’s father has long-time ties with her.

When Noriko Drifter first joined the PHIA Phorce in 2024 AB, he not only commissioned her to design an upgrade of his dual daggers, but both him and Weston also made her the new lead artist of the cover artwork for most of Exodus’ discography.
Equipment and abilities
Orion’s weapons of choice are dual daggers that are upgraded by Noriko Drifter, where the hilts of them each have different colors, one being bright blue and one being bright pink. Their blades emanate a mint green glow whenever they’re charged.
Skills and Abilities
Considering that Orion is a type of virtual life form, he can transfer to any piece of technology and has the ability to mess around with them, like glitching them or showing his face through their screens.

Holofauna are a subtype of virtual life form that fills the niche of wildlife across the galaxy and the vrNet. They specifically refer to the variety with no significant physical components besides holographic hardlight. This means their appearance is identical between virtual reality and the real world. In folklore, they are likened to spiritual creatures that travel between the planes of existence.

Holofauna have varying levels of intelligence from that of common animals to humans while some having the ability to speak. As such, they are not necessarily considered a race like some intelligent animals are such as the simians and the cetaceans. Because of that, interactions with them consider animal rights instead of citizen rights.
Holofauna are kept as pets more frequently than many organic animals. Holofauna are for the most considered fairly easy to take care of requiring only minimal energy in the form of electrical charges or through virtual food. Holofauna can also be trained for use in a variety of situations such as entertainment, sports, zoos, military and police.

Of the various types of virtual life forms, holofauna are unfortunately the most susceptible to strains of Rampant viruses compared to other forms of life. It is thought that this is because the virus can spread faster on less complex digital organisms with no corresponding virtually no physical components.
