Alphonse was once mentored by [[Kristoph Langusten]] during his time becoming a nanobot mage at the Mages' Tower on [[Merin]]. After finishing his training, he joined [[Blacktide]], an organization dedicated to postwar cleanup of the oceans and containing the pollution within the Condemned Zone.

			In the summer of 2021 AB, Alphonse helped the [[PHIA Phorce]] on an expedition into the Toxic Ship Graveyard with the ship ''MRS Orpheus''. During an encounter with the [[Oberon Pirates]], he strained himself and lost his nanomage powers. This led to him eventually leaving Blacktide to seek out a new career path.

	When Alphonse and [[Noriko Drifter]] first met in 2021 AB, Noriko used to sketch folklore-inspired creatures while he told stories, even though they’re both obsessed with Yeddo folklore. That early connection forged a creative friendship, and Alphonse had already been aware of her potential when Noriko was experimenting with digital art or amateur weapon prototypes. He wanted her to join the PHIA Phorce for that reason. The main reason why Alphonse joined the PHIA Phorce is because he is [[Kristoph Langusten]]’s pupil. He taught Alphonse how to command and use the nanobots. Kristoph first met him while he was talking with the people from a Merinian administration Alphonse used to be part of, named Blacktide.

When Alphonse and [[Noriko Drifter]] first met in 2021 AB, Noriko used to sketch folklore-inspired creatures while he told stories, even though they’re both obsessed with Yeddo folklore. She is one of his childhood friends and she has helped him on missions with the PHIA Phorce since then.
==Skills and Abilities==
Alphonse used to command and use the nanobots, a skill he learned from Kristoph for a few years, but recently he started to retire from controlling them because he believed how exhausting it started to be after this time. His main weapon is a modified cane that switches to a sword, but he also wields a hunter axe in multiple scenarios.
