The '''Search for the Four Presidents''' was a mission undertaken by the [[PHIA Phorce]] in order to find a way to unlock the secret chamber within [[Mt. Rushmore]]. In order to open the chamber, the neural scans of [[George Washington]], [[Thomas Jefferson]], [[Theodore Roosevelt]] and [[Abraham Lincoln]] were required. These individuals were once the presidents of an ancient nation known as the United States of America which covered a significant portion of the North American continent. Naturally, because these four presidents were long dead, the next best thing was to use [[virtual life form]] recreations based on them.

When the PHIA Phorce first started this mission, Abraham Lincoln had already been in the PHIA Phorce for two years. Lincoln was initially not very forthcoming about his past, as he had assumed the original simulation he came from, the [[Olympus Mons Historical Series]], was beyond saving due its Rampant infestation. With the discovery of [[John Veer]] (the only human at the time who would have any sort of deep knowledge over who Lincoln and the other presidents were), Lincoln became more inspired to seek out the mysteries of his past. John Veer had told him and the other PHIA Phorce members about Mt. Rushmore, proposing the idea that the structure may still exist even after 30,000 years.

The PHIA Phorce scouted out Mt. Rushmore through vrNet projections and found they could not get inside due to it being locked behind the neural scans. Not even Abraham Lincoln's neural scan worked, but he was led to believe that perhaps he just needed to recover more of his own memories to properly complete the scan.

The PHIA Phorce undertook an extensive research effort to find more information about the identities of the other presidents. Anticipating that the search was going to take them across multiple planets across the galaxy, the PHIA Phorce divided themselves into groups to search for each president.
==Abraham Lincoln==
Lincoln teamed up with [[Sophia Delphi]], [[Twinkle]] and [[Vincent Elliott]] to find a way to repair his memories. It was determined that Lincoln needed to revisit the Olympus Mons Historical Series depiction of the Civil War and to clear it of Rampants. In doing so, Abraham Lincoln would be able to fill in the gaps of his memories to truly awaken as the sixteenth president of the United States of America.

==George Washington==
After Abraham Lincoln, the first president that the PHIA Phorce discovered a solid lead on was George Washington. By reading about various Federation worlds, they very quickly discovered that George Washington was alive and active as a [[machine god]] on the planet [[Columbia]], which very thankfully was a peaceful, stable world. The only real complication was that George Washington was an important leader of the planet, and getting an audience with him was not going to be easy without connections. However, because Columbia was in many ways a successor to the original United States of America, it would very likely help to narrow down their search.

[[Kristoph Langusten]] was tasked to going to Columbia, bringing [[Raven Hydecroft]] and [[Edgar]] with him. There, they spent some time at the local museums, reading about the limited available information about the United States while also trying to find a way to seek an audience with George Washington.

The PHIA Phorce discovered that Columbia was based largely on the culture of early America when it was first founded, but most of the history after that - including Lincoln's time - was missing. Theodore Roosevelt was nowhere to be found. While a copy of Thomas Jefferson was originally present, it was stolen and sold on the black market years ago. The [[Soul Brokers]] were the most likely culprit.

==Theodore Roosevelt==
While helping to research, [[DYN-0]] had discovered that Theodore Roosevelt's description had matched the description of a legendary figure from [[Archaetron]] history. It was a man who cared deeply about wildlife and helped to preserve the environment. Eventually, however, he had retired to an ancient archive located in the [[Varlog]] Sanctum. However, it would not be a simple task as the guardians of the sanctum refused to let outsiders in. However, there was an exception. An outsider who could prove themselves in the [[Combat Rites Arena]] and complete the Rite of Champions would be considered worthy.

The Rite of Champions would involve enduring gauntlets of opponents consisting of various Archaetronian wildlife in an environment not too dissimilar from the PHIA Phorce's time in the [[Games Arena]]. [[Eris Duellona]] chose to take on the challenge. With some help from [[Noriko Drifter]], she got some upgraded equipment.

Eris found herself in the arena battling waves of enemies. The final challenge was against a [[TA-RASQ]].

[[Clover]], [[Lindon]] and [[Bouncer]] were tasked with tracking down Thomas Jefferson. Because Jefferson was in the posession of criminals, the PHIA Phorce figured that skilled bounty hunters were the best pick.
