The crew of the ship set off on their voyage unaware of their true nature. While diagnosing the damage and reevaluating the health of the onboard embryos, the crew discovered that they were the genetically engineered werewolves created by Shinich Nekomata centuries prior. This led to major division as they realized that the colonists of Loupa were not going to be human. As such, some crew members pushed to destroy the embryos to conserve resources.
