Phootsylvania was the name of a lost continent on the planet Tevaris. It was believed to be the world where the goddess Pheetri once dwelled and had many adventures. However, after a great cataclysm that destroyed the previous universe, this continent was lost. However, a being known as the Chronicler wrote of this previous universe and documented it in a storybook, thus preserving the memories of the land.

Phootsylvania was in the shape of a star with each extremity having its own unique biome. The governing body that united all the provinces of the land was known as the Phoot Kingdom.

The currency used in Phootsylvania was known as PHollar Bills.

Woodlands Region

The Woodlands are the region where Phootsville was found in the southwestern part of the continent. At the center Phootsville was the Palace of Solum, was located close to the center of the star. The landscape was naturalistic and filled with heavy vegetation. Forests and flowers were everywhere. Past the edges of Phootsville was a spooky, dense forest filled with tall pine trees, cobwebs and mushrooms. The signature Temple of the Flute was located within a large hill with an entrance engraved into the side that led to the underground, stone structure. The insides of it were damp and earthy and overgrown with moss.

The southernmost point of the Woodlands crossed with the equator and became a lot more tropical than the temperate northern areas.

  • Phoot Kingdom - The centermost point of Phootsylvania where the city of Phootsville was located. It was a temperate mix of forests and grasslands. The most prominent feature was the Misty Lake, the largest freshwater body on the continent.
  • Forest Kingdom - A land of enormous trees and woodlands to the southeast. King Anthos, ruler of bees, watched over this relatively peaceful land. It was also the birthplace of PHIA.

Floating Islands Region

The Floating Islands were found in Phoot Kingdom's western area. The islands become gradually more raised from the ground the further towards the west coast one travels eventually leading to the Sky Tower situated atop the largest, highest floating island. The other islands vary from larger ones with multiple buildings on them to smaller islands with single trees or tiny houses. Waterfalls run off the sides of the island, forming pools of water on the ground as well as swamp-like regions below. Many islands are connected via wooden rope bridges.

The Sky Tower, the highest elevated point in Phoot Kingdom was cylindrical shaped with layered detailing accentuating its great height. Some mini floating islands can be found within its vicinity, some of which connect to it. Those who wish to reach the innermost area of the Sky Tower - the Temple of the Harp - will require travelers to climb from the sides of the tower.

A grand library was also present which was looked after by parrots.

  • Itolia - A chain of floating islands to the east. The people here were one with the avian creatures.

Ice Mountains Region

To the north was a harsh, dangerous mountain range. A great fault line crosses through this area and the Heat Mines creating many extreme geological features including some of the tallest mountains in the world.

Civilization was sparse and spread out in this snow-covered land. Many of the structures here consist of log cabins kept warm by fireplaces with stone chimneys. The northernmost reaches of the Ice Mountains are covered in unending snowstorms, and the land rarely sees the sun. Despite these hostile conditions, the area is frequented by merchant travelers who spend their nights in specially made tents as well as igloos.

The Ice Mountains is home to the Ice Palace, the ancient capital of Dactylus. The Ice Palace is a sprawling cathedral-like structure that sports a maze-like structure. Even after many centuries, the mechanisms that control the booby traps and the secret rooms hidden behind paintings are still active. Various riddles hide secrets related to the past of this ancient kingdom. The Ice Palace was constructed above the ancient Temple of the Celeste to protect it from outsiders.

The ghost of the Priest-King Farbauti still haunts the area, still trapped in the world unable to move on due to his own regrets. During the Khatt-Dactylus War, King Farbauti was desperate to do everything he could to protect his people. He was responsible for thousands of deaths, civilians included, for the sake of keeping his kingdom safe. The legends tell that the reason he still dwells the material world because he was rejected from both heaven and hell because he committed evil deeds for the sake of good.

Those who venture out to meet him should be wary. While he may help others if it suits the old kingdom, he is willing to betray even his closest friends.

  • Borealia - A frozen land to the north ruled by a hardened race of polar bears.
  • Bovaria - The land of the cows.

Heat Mines Region

To the northeast are the heat mines, a heavily industrialized region filled with steam-powered machines. The fault line that passes through the Ice Mountains also passes through the tip of this region, creating intense volcanic activity. The land dips into the ground like a crater. For miles upon miles, the land is filled with mines built to excavate the resources of the area. Coal, iron and precious gems are frequently sought after in this region.

The ground is red and earthy due to pools of lava with geysers springing out. An extensive railroad network extends throughout the region used for minecarts. Some of these minecarts are ridden for entertainment like roller coasters.

Because of how difficult it is for vegetation to grow in the area, the native inhabitants of the heat mines often rely on underground farms for sustenance. Certain types of mushrooms are highly resilient to the otherwise hostile conditions.

Deep inside a large volcano is the Temple of the Drums. A maze of minecart rails poses a challenge to those who venture here.

  • Bakania - A country found in the more temperate areas. It is a place home to many different magic academies.

Desert Region

Home to the catgirls, the desert region is found in the southeast region of the continent along the planet's equator. Thousands of years ago, the land used to be a tropical wetland. Legends tell of an apocalyptic event known as "Daybreak", when the wrathful sun god scorched the land. Nonetheless, life not only would adapt after this disaster, but also thrive. Despite this, the inhabitants often find themselves in near constant conflict as wars and raids are an everyday occurrence.

The town of Al-Ghato is an oasis town surrounded by walls to defend from invaders. The inhabitants are known as Darkseers, wearing blindfolds and use their psychic abilities to navigate the world around them. They are monks protecting the Temple of the Horn, often called the temple of darkness as it is pitch black in almost all parts of the structure. It is said to be so dark inside that no light can penetrate it. Thus, a person who ventures into the temple must learn how to see in the dark.

On the border of the Central Province is the Phoot Coliseum where gladiator tournaments are held.

Misty Lake

The Misty Lake is located in the center of the Phoot Kingdom, home to the Mirror Labyrinth. The Misty Lake is the site where the ancient battle between Pheetri and Zampos took place - where Pheetri sacrificed herself to ensure Zampos would be sealed. Thus, an illusionary magic keeps the seal intact. The maze is only visible through the reflection on the water.

At the center of the maze is the portal to the Upside-Down World sealed by the five Sacred Instruments held in the five temples across Phoot Kingdom.

Upside-Down World

The Upside-Down World was a parallel world to the Phoot Kingdom. Those who enter it for the first time often experienced disorientation as one feels as if they are upside down. The signature landmark was the Crystal Castle, home to the evil king Rark where he kept PHIA captive.
