Xeno is a genre of music that saw its origins on Torus before spreading across the galaxy, notably taking root in Yeddo. It is described as somewhat atonal electronic music with irregular time signatures and pitch bends.
Xeno is thought to have originated as a movement that opposed AI generated music - which was able to replicate mainstream genres so precisely that it was difficult for newer musicians to find footing in the industry. Thus, the Xeno genre was more or less designed to be difficult for a non-sentient AI to replicate.
