Loupa

Loupa is the fifth planet of the red dwarf Canis. It is found at the outer edge of the habitable zone. It is the homeworld of the werewolf species, featuring extensive metropoli and complex planteriums designed to observe the other planets and two moons that orbit Loupa. The movement of the planets and the moons causes subtle behavioral differences on the inhabitants, and as such, the inhabitants of Loupa have built an extensive, complex calendar keeping track of the multiple possible phases and configurations they can take.

At some point in the distant past, a clan of genetically engineered wolves with human DNA laid claim to the planet. Very little is known where they came from, only that local mythologies say that the werewolves descended to Loupa from the tear drops of the moons.

Procyon City

One of the oldest cities on Loupa and to many, one of the ancient wonders of the galaxy. The entire city is built as an enormous planetarium out of clockwork. It simulates the complex movement of Canis, its planets and moons. It was constructed by ancient werewolves who sought to create an elaborate method of timekeeping to better predict how the planetary and lunar alignments affected their behaviors. Originally, smaller planetarium were built, while each subsequent one was built around the previous one, refining the design and accuracy.
