The Unseen One is the leader of the Free Souls and is said to be directly responsible for the assassination of Luthen Virtuoso. The Unseen One was not responsible for directly killing Luthen, but rather, orchestrated the events leading up to the event.

Appearance

The Unseen One's identity is completely unknown. They only ever appear to others as a static holographic image of the Free Souls logo - using a text-to-speech voice. The humanoid representation of the Unseen One is often described as a young woman with black, frizzy hair wearing a metal, expressionless mask while garbed in heavy black robes. It is not known if this is their actual appearance or a remote, synthetic body.

It has not been verified if the Unseen One is even human. Theories over their identity have ranged from being a virtual life form to a rogue AI. The only confirmed fact about the Unseen One is that they pass the Standard Sapience Test, meaning they are an intelligent life form of some sort.

Personality

The Unseen One, in their broadcasts, has always spoke using a royal we, perhaps to indicate that their wishes are that of the Free Souls as a whole. Despite their identity being completely hidden, they are highly charismatic and influential. They are proficient at swaying and convincing others to sympathize with the Free Souls.

Relations

• Echo - The two are archnemeses. Echo wishes to destroy the Unseen One out of vengeance for Luthen Virtuoso. However, Echo respects the Unseen One's ability to remain anonymous, almost to the point of admiration.
• Lucian Virtuoso - The Unseen One seeks only to torment Lucian. In return, Lucian wants the Unseen One dead to get revenge for his father.
