Varlog

Varlog is a major city on Archaetron. It is home to several major landmarks such as the Combat Rites Arena as well as the Temple of the Primals. It is a highly sacred location. Outsiders are only permitted in the outer sections of the city with the innermost areas being reserved only for Archaetronians as well as any outsiders who have proven themselves worthy in some way.

In the language of the Archaetronians, "Varlog" roughly translates to "records of change". The city was built around an ancient library, and thus, much of their culture is dedicated to preserving knowledge and training to fight to defend it from falling into the wrong hands.

Naturally, the innermost parts of the city contain a wealth of pre-Blackout knowledge. However, with how closely guarded it is, its contents have not been widely shared across the Federation of Stellar Systems. Given Archaetron just barely avoided being consumed by the Oracle during the Singularity War, the natives are naturally reluctant to share it with anyone else, fearing it may fall into the wrong hands.
