Kirin

The Kirin (colloquially known as space giraffes) are benevolent virtual life forms that casually wander the cosmos leaving trails of nebulae in their wake. They have four long legs, a long neck and two horns while their skin glows with vibrant blues and aquamarine colors. During certain times of the year, they visit Tevaris at the polar regions, emerging from the astral plane. An aurora borealis in the sky signifies their arrival.

Being in the presence of a Kirin is often described as an enlightening experience. A person that witnesses one feels a great calm and clear-headedness as their stress gets relieved. As such, during early Tevaris history, they were worshipped as gods. In the northern regions of Tevaris (close to where Super North is found) are multiple monasteries where monks live simple, yet peaceful lives in the presence of where Kirin most often appear.
