Kirin
The Kirin (colloquially known as space giraffes) are benevolent alien life forms that inhabit the gas giant moon Frey. They have four long legs, a long neck and two horns while their skin glows with vibrant blues and aquamarine colors. They migrate across the entire world from the north to the south pole. To the local cultures, an aurora borealis in the sky signifies their arrival.
Being in the presence of a Kirin is often described as an enlightening experience. A person that witnesses one feels a great calm and clear-headedness as their stress gets relieved. As such, during early Frey history, they were worshipped as gods. In the northern regions of the moon are multiple monasteries where monks live simple, yet peaceful lives in the presence of where Kirin most often appear.
