Midori Monastery

Midori Monastery is located in the Midori Gardens region within the ruined foundations of an ancient Valerian city plaza. Children born with technokinesis are raised here as monks so that they can learn to control their powers. Most of them are either direct descendants or clones of Empress Minerva, so naturally, ancient traditions, religions and scientific knowledge are incorporated into their practices.

To be considered as fully completing their training, a child must pass a rite of passage which is a final test of their skills. Upon reaching the age of seventeen, they are sent on a pilgrimage where they must live outside the monastery on their own for at least one year. What they do during that one year is entirely up to them. Most take on a job or attend a school while others do volunteer work.
