Rark Zampos is the leader of the cybernephrine gang known as the Cult of Shi.

Rark claims that his actions are a divine mandate from a machine god. He was tasked with harvesting cybernephrine to pave the way to allow others to become closer to the gods on a metaphysical level.

Appearance

Rark has dark brown fur which covers most of his body. Like most werewolves, he has a set of fangs that stick outward even when his mouth is closed. He has rightfully intimidating appearance which he uses to his advantage.

Rark is usually garbed in a red cloak with golden trims. He wears a hood that obscures most of his face in shadow. Rark also replaced his left eye with a prosthetic. During a fit of rage, his abusive father had clawed out one of his eyes as a child.

Personality

Having grown up in an abusive household in the slums of Port Oraulan, Rark found solace in the worship of an ancient Valerian machine god known as Orcus - an entity which most Valerians considered to be evil. He began to believe that this god was only considered evil because of its dealings with the condition of the human soul and the desire for power.

Rark is sadistic and cruel especially towards virtual life forms. He sees them as entirely disposable, only one further step towards his own personal ambitions. He genuinely believes in the cause he pushes, and desires to ascend to a higher plane of existence by creating the perfect concoction of cybernephrine.
