Kyara of the Sea Catchers is an orca content creator and Phan Club member that lives off the coast of the city Port Oraulan on Yeddo. She was born into the Sea Catchers pod, an influential orca family that became wealthy through the fishing industry.

Kyara always dreamed of exploring the human world, only having scant interactions with whale watchers early in her life. Her view into the rest of the universe was through the vrNet where she became immediately fascinated with online culture.

After hearing of the exploits of the PHIA Phorce, she could not help but take a keen interest, wanting to share with her family all the heroic deeds of humanity. Kyara quickly got into contact with Emily Reeds and became a member of the Phan Club.

Appearance

Kyara is a female orca at about five meters long. However, when interacting with humans, she chooses to use a humanoid avatar through the vrNet. Her avatar resembles a human but with additional physical traits and colorings themed around orcas.

Personality

Kyara is awkward and overly fascinated with humans and their society. She stands out as an oddball from the rest of her family who tend to look at humans with indifference and even contempt. She is wary about talking with her father especially. Around other humans, she lets herself loose and enjoys being quirky and funny.

Kyara's normal go to choice of food is manta ray. While most days, she eats them raw as orcas usually do, her influence among the vrNet naturally led to her having the opportunity to try out cooked manta ray which she finds to taste heavenly.
