Soul Cloud

The Soul Cloud is the name of a vrNet domain dedicated to storing the consciousness backups of those who die while in virtual reality.

The Oracle notoriously downloaded a copy of the Soul Cloud to incorporate into its training data on the Guf megastructure.

Bunny also visited the Soul Cloud during her quest to find more information about her origins.

What happened to the Soul Cloud after the Blackout is not entirely clear. When the Oracle was destroyed, the active servers running the Soul Cloud were disconnected, and no more new consciousness backups would be added to it. Theoretically, they still exist in various hidden data centers across the galaxy, but given their lack of maintenance and degradation over time, the Soul Cloud cannot likely be brought back to how it was during its prime.
