Universe PH-322

Universe PH-322 is the prime reality of the PHIA Phorce Universe. Much of its ancient history is identical to that of the real world with the main point of divergence being the construction of the city of Chionistra at the base of Olympus Mons on Mars. Additionally, some planetary configurations in some solar systems across the Milky Way Galaxy are different from that of the real world. Even so, it remains to be seen how much of our history will align with that of the PHIA Phorce with its main events taking place tens of thousands of years into the future.

Races

As humanity entered the far future, the number of known intelligent species increased. While extraterrestrials are very few, artificial life as well as animals with increased intelligence found their place in society.

Human

These races have the most direct lineage to the ancient Homo sapiens species.

• Human - A primate species originally from Earth, but has since diversified after achieving intragalactic space travel.
  • Ancient human - The original Homo sapiens that evolved on planet Earth.
  • Common human - Present day humans similar to their ancient counterparts with a more neotenous appearance.
  • Valerian human - Genetically enhanced humans with peak physical traits and peak mental acuity.

Augmented

These races, while human at their base, became extensively modified with genetic engineering.

• Sylph - Genetically modified humans adapted to live on the gas giant moon Frey.
• Werewolf - Extensively modified humans with canine traits.
• Hybrid - Offspring of humans and werewolves that have minor animal traits such as different types of ears.
• Bugbear - Offpring of werewolves and Sylph. They are far less common due to historical meetings between Sylphs and werewolves being very rare.
• Andvari - Short stocky humans native to the high gravity world of Skrymir.

Human divergent

These races share a common ancestor with humans from around 30,000 years ago before evolving into other species.

• Azurian - Humans on the gas giant moon Urdinak that naturally evolved to have blue skin.
• Grey - Dimunitive, hairless, grey-skinned humans native to the low gravity world of Nibiru. They became sterile due to overeliance on cloning, so they rely on surrogates to reproduce.
• Ascendant - Essentially amounts to a human nervous system contained within a tank filled with a special, protective gel.
• Neo-anderthal - Through random evolution, these humans began expressing traits of Neanderthals and other extinct hominids.
• Merfolk - Humans that evolved webbed fingers and feet and the ability to hold their breath for extended periods of time underwater.
• Sedentary - Bulky humans with hunched over necks. They have difficulty walking and can only move significant distances with the aid of machines.

Synthetic

These races use primarily synthetic components in their overall physiology. They share a lineage with artificial entities created by humans from around 30,000 years ago.

• Android - Human consciousnesses uploaded into humanoid frames.
• Synthetic life form - A machine with a computer intelligence that evolved sapience outside of human intervention.
  • Archaetronian - A specific type of synthetic life form loosely resembling therapod dinosaurs.
• Virtual life form - A portable computer program that evolved sapience outside of human intervention.
  • Machine god - An extraordinarily powerful virtual life form with computational abilities at supercomputer levels.
• Scrapborn - A life form that arises from scraps of old technology.

Intelligent non-human animals

These races were initially classified as wildlife before evolution brought their intelligence and reasonining capabilities to be much closer to that of humans.

• Simian - Primates that evolved human-level intelligence over thousands of years.
• Cetacean - Waterborn mammals once native to Earth's oceans.
• Avian - Various parrots and corvids that evolved human-level intelligence over thousands of years.
• Raccoon - A procyonid mammal that evolved alongside humans in urban areas.
• Terrafelis - Domestic housecats that evolved a tribal society on Earth after humans had left it.
• Elephant - Large pachioderms known for their long trunks. In the ancient past, they used to have tusks.

Extraterrestrial

These races do not share any common ancestry with other species from Earth except for organic compounds being transferred via comets and meteors.

• Mogus - Aliens from the Pinwheel Galaxy that arrived in the Milky Way through generational ships.

Other elements

Universe PH-322 is considered fairly grounded in terms of science. There are a few notable deviations from our reality. Faster than light travel is possible through the use of the spacefold drive which allows instananeous transport between planets with nearby vrNet servers.

Paranormal activity has also been reported in rare, esoteric corners of the galaxy.
