Federation of Stellar Systems
The Federation of Stellar Systems is a galactic government that formed starting from the planet Yeddo. After the fall of the Valerian Empire, they actively explored the galaxy to reach out to other planetary systems inhabited by humans.
When they became stretched too thin, infighting led to the Virtual Wars. The war came to an end when Virtuoso took over and propped the government up as a puppet state.
Organization
The Federation is run by a council lead by a Magistrate. The Magistrate is democratically elected and runs for a seven year term. A Magistrate is allowed only two terms.
Known Magistrates
- Copernicus Nova (1998 AB - 2012 AB) - Known for his tenure during the Virtual Wars. After an attempted assassination in 2008 AB, he went into hiding while a deepfake version of him replaced him until the conclusion of his term. It is said that Copernicus Nova is still hiding out somewhere. It is also believed that the deepfake version of him was sabotaged and used to the advantage of other groups of interest.
