PHIA Phorce

The PHIA Phorce is a mercenary group operating mostly within Port Oraulan and nearby areas. Using Mimi's Milkshakes as a base, they help those in need in exchange for a modest price.

History

The PHIA Phorce was founded by Sophia "PHIA" Delphi as a Rampant cleaning service, sifting through old technology to remove hostile virtual life forms and potentially recover pre-Blackout knowledge. After accidentally discovering a virtual life form named Twinkle trapped in the Virtuoso computer systems, she began investigating a virtual life form trafficking ring occuring within the company. PHIA had reason to suspect that these abducted virtual life forms were being poached in order to harvest them for their cybernephrine, a digital drug that can make someone experience any powerful emotion. When PHIA dug too deep, she found herself entangled with the criminal underworld, and she had to escape with her life.

Having very little elsewhere to go, PHIA moved in with her grandmother at Mimi's Milkshakes and continued her work with other clients. PHIA did odd jobs for common citizens, everything from finding a missing pet to clearing out Rampant infestations to tracking down wanted fugitives. Over time, she would find other societal misfits and vagabonds who joined her. Some of her team members joined her for the money while others simply believed it was an opportunity to do the right thing.

While the PHIA Phorce sustains itself through various odd jobs and pursuing bounties, every member of the PHIA Phorce has their own personal goals to fulfill. PHIA wants to eventually root out the corruption within Virtuoso as she strongly believes that the virtual life form trafficking ring runs far deeper. She believes that a secret cabal within Virtuoso was doing it for more than just fulfilling mere profit margins, but rather, for a greater sinister purpose that could put the entire galaxy at stake.

Known members

• Sophia "PHIA" Delphi - A Rampant cleaner that discovered a conspiracy within Virtuoso to harvest cybernephrine. She desires to get to the bottom of it and expose the corruption.
• Twinkle - A virtual life form that PHIA rescued from a trafficking operation conducted by rogue Virtuoso employees. Twinkle is at least over 2,000 years and deep within his databanks is a wealth of pre-Blackout knowledge.
• Angela "AngelHair" Harrison - A medical science student who is also part of the Red Crusaders Clan in Dreaming Kingdoms. She is the team medic.
• Clover - A bounty hunter android with a mysterious past.
• Kristoph Langusten - A native to the ocean world of Merin, Kristoph Langusten is a gifted nanomage. He fought in the Virtual Wars at a young age. When the Insurgency took over his home, he was forced to flee to Yeddo where he started a new life as a detective, hoping to one day track down his archnemesis - the Dark Mage.
• Mimi Delphi - PHIA's grandmother and owner of Mimi's Milkshakes. She is gentle and kind but also knows how to use heavy weapons.
• Joseph "Bouncer" Harrison - A cyborg and an old veteran of the Virtual Wars experienced in variety of medium-sized weapons. He is AngelHair's father.
• Lindon - A genetically engineered orangutan and former space pirate. After years of plundering treasure from the innocent, he turned a new leaf to dedicate himself to fighting crime instead.
• Raven Hydecroft and Edgar - A duo of thieves. Raven is a hybrid with feline traits, and traveling with her at nearly all times is a raven named Edgar who can talk in full sentences. Edgar is Raven's guardian, having practically raised her as a child after she was separated from her parents.
• Eris Duellona - A Valerian that once served in Empress Minerva's honor guard during the golden age of the Valerian Empire. During the Singularity War, a spacefold drive jump went wrong which stranded her out in space. By the time she was able to return to civilization, time dilation caused thousands of years to pass. She sought out PHIA - a descendant of Minerva - to abide by her oath of continuing to serve the empire, even after its fall.
• Abraham Lincoln - A virtual life form from an ancient VR simulation created to serve as a real-time reenacment of the American Civil War. His likeness is based on the 16th president of the United States of America of the same name. His simulation became corrupted by the Oracle during the Singularity War where it became invaded by Rampants. He developed specialized skills and slaying Rampants, and hopes to one day restore his simulation to normal.
• DYN-0 - A sentient robot that takes the shape of a velociraptor. He hails from a society of similar dinosaur-like synthetic life forms that evolved via self-replicating over thousands of years. He is an engineer and an expert in explosives.

Relations

• Red Crusaders Clan - The PHIA Phorce are direct allies of the Red Crusaders. The PHIA Phorce often steps in to help the Red Crusaders when the players of Dreaming Kingdoms are facing some sort of physical threat.
• Phan Club - They have positive relations with the Phan Club and appreciate the support and goodwill from them. They do have concerns over how the Phan Club has propped the PHIA Phorce up to be celebrities, however.
• Virtuoso - Relations are extremely tenuous. Virtuoso has collaborated with the PHIA Phorce when convenient though these temporary alliances rarely ever last.
• Free Souls - The Free Souls are openly hostile towards the PHIA Phorce.
• Hellhounds - Relations started off hostile as the Hellhounds were directly trying to capture Twinkle to claim a bounty that Virtuoso put on him. However, over the course of time and through a heavy realignment in interests and priorities, the two eventually started cooperating with one another.
