Raven Hydecroft (usually known as Raven) is a hybrid with feline traits, coloquially known as a catgirl. She is a thief that grew up on the streets, raised by the raven Edgar who also aids in her thieving pursuits.

Appearance

Raven is short and thin-framed. She has short black hair, pale skin and amber colored eyes. She has fluffy cat-like ears sticking out from the top of her head while having a human face. These ears are her real ears while hair covers where if she were a human, her ears would be. Like a lot of hybrids, her canine teeth are larger than those of regular humans so they can stick out like fangs when her mouth is closed.

Raven's choice of attire are usually fitted black clothes with white highlights. She often wears a red bow fitted asymetrically as well as a bell around her neck. She's also sometimes seen wearing a black mask over her eyes, usually in situations where she is engaged in some sort of stealth.

Raven also wears an arm guard for Edgar to perch on. He usually accompanies her wherever she travels.

Personality

Raven is very street smart and clever with words. She can be very persuasive and charming which she uses to her advantage in swindling others. Given her background as a thief, Raven is notoriously a kleptomaniac, often subconsciously grabbing anything that isn't nailed down, although since joining the PHIA Phorce, she has gotten better about it. Even to this day, Raven is very easily distracted by shiny objects.

Raven also gets slightly annoyed whenever people mistake Edgar for being named Raven.

History

Raven was orphaned on the streets after getting separated by her parents. Her father was a werewolf and her mother was a human. While scavenging for food in the trash, she met a raven named Edgar who taught her more efficient ways to survive. The two of them eventually became a thieving duo, using their persuasive abilities to con others out of their valuables.

Eventually, the PHIA Phorce encountered Raven after a bounty was put out for her capture. After she was caught, PHIA saw her potential to use her skills to get to the bottom of a conspiracy regarding Virtuoso. After a bit of remediation, Raven decided to join the PHIA Phorce and instead use her skills to help others however she could. Edgar was initially skeptical but saw that this lifestlye change could prove to be for the better.

Skills and Abilities

Raven's charming personality allows her to be very persuasive towards others. She also has a strong sleight of hand, allowing her to easily pickpocket and others acquire valuables.

Raven also has knowledge on hacking. Rather than brute forcing with special tools, her preferred method is usually through the form of elicitation and trawling through social media locations on the vrNet. Raven also has experience with breaking and entering into locations as well as lockpicking.

She does not have much in the ways of physical strength, but if she needs to defend herself, she is rather quick and light on her feet to dodge attacks. In a pinch, her fingernails are aligned with carbon fiber which allows her to scratch an opponent - including metallic ones.
