While Noriko's specialty is in blueprint design, she also enjoys drawing her own things, often made-up creatures from folklore and local legends.
History
Noriko was a child prodigy in engineering drawing. During high school, she was awarded a scholarship for the University of Oraulan after she successfully reconstructed an antique music playing device originally developed by Fractal Corporation in the 1860s AB. Her true passion, however, was weapons design. Her original plan was to design weapons for the Federation military after graduating, but due to the government downscaling the military after the end of the Virtual Wars, the opportunity no longer presented itself. Nevertheless, she still wanted some sort of outlet for her drawing skills. She would shift over to doing commissions and digital art for small scale vrNet entertainment programs while still attending university to build her skillset.
In 2021 AB, she met Alphonse Reefwood whom they both shared an interest of folklore of all things. Noriko would create drawings based on Alphonse's fictional stories. Several years later, when it came up in conversation of Noriko's abilities as an amateur weapon designer, Alphonse recommended her to join the PHIA Phorce. At that point, the PHIA Phorce had become a fully fledged mercenary group and had expanded into making use of custom tools to handle the unique situations they often found themselves in. Noriko was more than happy to offer her skills to help them out.
Orion Faderson and Weston Elliott saw this potential when Noriko first joined the PHIA Phorce, and Orion not only commissioned her to design an upgrade of his dual daggers, but both him and Weston also made her the new lead artist of the cover artwork for most of Exodus' discography.
Skills and Abilities
Noriko has a background in architectural design, having an intimate knowledge of various small gadgets, electronics and perhaps one of her favorites: weapons. One particular work she is very fond of is a custom-created pulse gun which she designed the blueprints for herself. It is highly effective at neutralizing Rampants.
