Sophia "PHIA" Delphi is the founder of the PHIA Phorce and the granddaughter of Mimi. She is a young woman with mysterious ancestry, said to be a descendant of Empress Minerva of the Valerian Empire. While the royal lineage means little in a day where said empire is long forgotten, she nonetheless wishes to explore the secrets of her heritage as with it comes several unique abilities. Namely, she has the ability to see into the past upon investigating something her ancestors may have interacted with, a power best described as some form of genetic-based quantum entanglement system.

With shrewd wit and courage, PHIA has developed an inherent wisdom, likely from her accumulated experiences from past versions of herself. In low points, she somewhat struggles to reconcile the boundaries of her individuality and her shared consciousness with her past counterparts. But it's through her studies of the past that she finds peace and understanding.

PHIA is well-versed in her attunement into the virtual worlds, influenced by her family members who are monks seeking out the harmony between the physical and virtual worlds. She has a natural ability to perform technokinesis, the ability to commune with electronics and subtly manipulate its electric flow.

Appearance

PHIA has medium length brown hair and wears black-rimmed glasses. Her attire of choice is usually a light blue jacket, running shorts and shoes. To help focus her technokinesis, she usually wears wrist guards for support. She also has fingerless gloves to allow electricity to flow out in a more concentrated fashion.

Personality

PHIA is very intelligent and ambitious, committing to plans and big ideas. As someone who likes getting things done, she often finds herself involved in all sorts of matters, especially helping others where she can. She cares very deeply for her grandmother and sees her as a role model.

PHIA is also particularly clumsy. This may be partly due to her senses sometimes getting overloaded due to her technokinesis - "hearing" all the patterns of electricity patterns around her to the point where she sometimes gets lost in thought and doesn't always watch where she is going.

History

PHIA initially pursued a degree in Virtuoarchaeology at the University of Oraulan, but after her second year, she dropped out due to being unable to pay for student loans. In an effort to ease the financial burden, she started her own cleaner service called the PHIA Phorce, dedicated to rooting out Rampants and other hostile virtual life forms from old technology so that they can be repurposed.

At some point, she landed a job with one of Virtuoso, a megacorporation that develops virtual reality operating systems. She was tasked with cleaning out Rampants from some old hardware that was recovered from the planet Fractal as they were intending to repurpose it to construct more cryptomines. However, while sifting through the files, she discovered an imprisoned virtual life form named Twinkle. This lead to her discovering a potential conspiracy to smuggle non-Rampant virtual life forms to experiment on them, with the side effect of them being turned into Rampants. When she investigated too deeply, she was let go for "unauthorized breach of confidential files", then was subject to a smear campaign to hinder her attempts at collaborating with any Rampant cleaning guilds to help her find jobs.

Nevertheless, she persisted in trying to discover what Virtuoso was truly up to. Staying with Mimi to lay low, she continued her cleaner job elsewhere, hoping to eventually uncover the conspiracy behind Virtuoso.

Skills and Abilities

PHIA can control electricity through her genetic heritage as a Minervan, a bloodline derived from clones of the Valerian Empress Minerva. This gives her faster than normal reflexes and a deeper awareness of the flow of energy and electricity. She can also enter a trance to perform technokinesis - communicating directly with electronics by going into a trance. From there, she can manipulate the individual circuitry as a form of hacking. For example, by injecting specific electrical signals to change particular transistors, she can unlock electronic locks or otherwise cause computers to behave in unexpected ways.

In the virtual worlds, PHIA finds herself naturally able to accustom herself to it. She can very quickly adapt her avatar to seamlessly move with her thoughts. Depending on how attuned she is to a specific virtual world, she can move about almost in the way one would lucid dream.

With Mimi's help, she has trained in martial arts tailored to her natural abilities in the real world. With enough concentration, she can even form bolts of plasma in her hands. This plasma can be either be launched as a projectile or concentrated around her hands to enhance the power of her strikes. This allows her to take down Rampants and other hostile artificial life forms with only her fists. Though quite gifted in combat, PHIA often uses her technokinesis and electricity manipulation for more mundane purposes such as charging the batteries in her datapad.

Being a direct descendant of Empress Minerva, PHIA also has the ability to see into the past in locations where her ancestors may have interacted. She can catch glimpses of daily activities around ancient Valerian ruins and in rare cases, even discover previously unknown information.
